Noelle
About:
Noelle is enrolled in the University of Michigan’s Engineering Program as a rising sophomore where she has demonstrated the highest proficiency in her studies. Previously, Noelle has developed STEM curriculum and led a STEM instructor team for a community outreach STEM program with local university and high school students. This program development was built upon her own experience within STEM programs such as the MIT Educational Studies Program and the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE) Program. Noelle enjoyed learning more about science and math from the MIT students, and hopes to have a similar impact in helping to shape STEMRSHIP, Inc programs for current young students. Noelle enjoys making learning fun as a treasured memory includes dressing up as Charles Lindbergh to deliver a presentation about his historic aviation accomplishments.
Noelle has combined her enthusiasm for STEM within her University of Michigan Engineering curriculum as well as in outside clubs and activities. Noelle is a member of the National Organization for Business and Engineering (NOBE) at the University of Michigan. Her NOBE projects included an operational assessment role of the University’s Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum as well as a client liaison for the Michigan Medicine project. Noelle also served as a member of the Michigan Data Science Team where she learned and applied python skills in analyzing project data. Noelle was awarded an opportunity to reside in the Women in Science and Engineering Residence Program (WISE RP) for her Freshman year. Noelle is also enrolled in the Society of Women Engineers.
